She-Hulk trailer reveals a new look for the return of abomination

Marvel Studios has already confirmed that Emil Blonsky aka Tim Roth’s Abomination will be returning for the upcoming She-Hulk series, and with the official trailer now online, we got our first look at his return…in both looks. Ruth appears in a containment cell dressed in a prison jumpsuit, with the trailer editing leading us to believe that Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters will legally represent him (the series’ new title is officially She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, after all), but later reverts to his hateful formula .

As Marvel fans will remember, Ruth lent his voice to The Abomination big screen last year Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten RingsAnd who upset his current status in the MCU as well as his sudden friendship with magician Supreme Wong. Today’s She-Hulk news blast also confirmed that Wong will be returning in the series as well, which means that revealing how the couple knew each other seems like a guarantee of the new show. Perhaps Walters will get Blonsky out of prison, as he has supposedly been since destroying Harlem in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.

It is also worth noting that with the return of abomination in shang chi, the character has acquired an upgraded look that took into account his trademark comic book look, particularly the pointy ears. It seems that Blonsky might be able to transform at will, or he might have a wrathful transformation like Banner and Walters, where we can see him transform into The Abomination within the same cell he showed earlier.

The nine-episode She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will premiere August 17 on Disney+. The official Marvel description for the series reads as follows: “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complex life of a single 30-year-old lawyer who happens to be a green 6-foot-7 with a super-powerful hulk. The series welcomes… Nine episodes host a host of MCU vets, including Mark Ruffalo as Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky / The Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segara, Jamila Jamil, and John Bass and Renee Elise Goldsbury”.

The co-executive producers are Wendy Jacobson and Jennifer Booth.
